Orange Vessel Cutting Boards

Introducing our new limited edition cutting boards just in time for the holidays. Hand made from thick, solid Silver Maple each one is unique and hand numbered in the order they were made. Thoroughly oiled, waxed and ready to use, these heavy duty slabs will last a lifetime with proper care. Locally harvested from yard trees that were originally destined for the wood stove, they were given a last minute reprieve by the warden so they could become part of your charcuterie dreams.

These are hand made in small batches just like our signature stoneware growlers.

The contrasting heart wood provides a beautiful two tone appearance with a single solid piece of wood. The large shown above is a big boy and weighs around 9lbs.

When my buddy Don asked if I wanted these for firewood, I just couldn’t muster the strength to send these to the log splitter.

These may actually grow on trees but I am not sure most people realize the amount of energy that goes into making something as simple a cutting board. Look at the amazing grain pattern.

Freshly cut green 2”x12”x12’ are much heavier than you might think. Added a nice new dent to the Chevy loading them…after drying them for entire year we were able to plane, cut, sand and oil them for use.

We have had the Orange Vessel “Brand” around for a couple of years just waiting for the right opportunity, 15secs and presto!

Each Orange Vessel Cutting Board is hand numbered in the order in which they were made.

We made a couple different sizes and they are going fast so get them while they last.

The Dam Brewhouse in Campton NH

This independent craft micro-brewhouse is just north of the Campton dam in Campton NH. Owners Sarah Dreshaj and John Anderson’s goal is to “make the beers you want to drink” and are constantly rotating the beers they have on tap. The Dam Brewhouse has been hard at work expanding the tasting room and brewing capacity mainly due to the high demand for their Freestyle New England Style IPA. They also have a few other fan favorites including Dam Delight Lager and the Mud Puddle Dry Irish Stout. Joining the mug club gets you lots of goodies including this handsome piece of glass.

Bullfrog Brewery - a Pennsylvania Craft Beer Tradition since 1996

Bullfrog Brewery is an award winning independent brewery in the heart of Williamsport PA. Therapy Brewing, Montoursville Pennsylvania

We could all use a little peace of mind right now and Therapy Brewing in Montoursville, Pennsylvania is serving it up in our 32oz little helper to celebrate their first year anniversary. If you find yourself in the heart of the Keystone State, please stop by and grab some suds to go. They are on the last keg of Gray Fox so get there soon if you like west coast IPA’s, but don’t worry, they have plenty of other great beers lined up.

Central Machine Works Beer Hall and Orange Vessel

Austin has always been one of our favorite places to visit in Texas and Central Machine Works Beer Hall gives everyone a new reason to make the journey. Once a machine shop that made aircraft parts during WW2… and now a super cool beer hall open 7 days a week, they make everything in small batches and age their beers for up to four months for optimal flavor. The CMW Lager “combines 100% North American Pilsner malt with flaked maize from the heartland" and is a highly drinkable “Macro Craft” that packs a refreshing punch… Even better it can be had in our favorite little juice jugs. Stop in to fill a growler and sample the full menu of goodies.
